Bye bye bye

Hi everyone! today I'm sad but happy at the same time. Happy, because this is the final post of the english blog. And don't get me wrong, I liked this course but the only bad thing was the "getting up early" part. Besides that, I think it was a good course and we had a good time (At least I enjoyed it).

And sad because this means one step closer to get my journalism degree. And I don't want my college life to end. I dont'want to jump into the "adult's world". But life goes on and I have to stay positive about this.

The use of blogs (and videoblogs) during the course has taught me that I really need to practice my english a lot. I read, listen and understand english very well. I can watch a movie without subtitles and undertsand the most part of it. But when it comes to my writing and talking, I have a hard time.

I plan to travel abroad or doing some course in an english-speaking country to improve my english, because it's the only way you can talk enlgish like an expert.

Nowadays, I use english when it comes to watch videos on internet, series or movies. Also, I read some articles that I find interesting, but it is very hard if you don't understand some of the hard words. Thank god for online dictionaries!

So, this is it! I hope you had a good time reading my blog. I put a lot of effort into it and I am very proud.

See you soon!

two thousand fifteen

Well, I would say this wasn’t my best year but neither it’s the worst one. It has been a plain year, without major milestones for me, but I think the birth of my nephew it’s one of the big moments of my 2015.

My sister had him in February and since then my whole family had been closer than ever. My parents are divorced and this baby has helped a lot for their reconciliation.

Also, my brother left Santiago to live in Castro, Chiloé, with his girlfriend. They have been very happy together there and every time they visit, my family gets together and has a really good time.
I’m very happy for my two older brothers. I realize that we are all growing up and making our own lives. And that scares me a little, but I’m curious at the same time.

Another of my big moments in 2015 was definitely my trip to New York. I went there with my dad and his girlfriend and daughters. I thought we couldn’t be able to get along well but we did and it was amazing.

We stayed there for two weeks and we also visited Toronto. Toronto was beautiful but we stayed there just for 3 days. Nevertheless, we had more time to go all over the big city. There is so much to see that we missed some things. That’s why I will come back one day.

I hope for the rest of the year to be as fun as possible. I want to wait for 2016 with the best vibes.

My plans for summer

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to write about my plans for the summer. I’m really excited this summer because I have so many plans and hope it all works out. First of all, this semester ends in January so in December I plan to pass all my classes and hope not to get exams.

When December ends, I’m going to Rancagua for a few weeks and maybe in the end of the month I will go to Puerto Varas with my high school friends. A friend of us has an apartment there, so we only have to spend on the tickets and food. I love southern Chile so much, it reminds me of my childhood holidays. I have gone to Puerto Varas many times, but never with friends, so it’s going to be very fun.

When that trip ends, I plan to return to Santiago and do my internship. I hope I can do it in some producer or in television. I have to do it that month because I only got until the end of the first semester to finish it. Many of my classmates are done with that and I am one of the few people who haven’t done it yet, so the pressure is real.

I want to enjoy this summer because it’s maybe my last long holiday, so I want to make the most of it and not waste it by staying at home doing nothing
